A Turkish fireman has adopted a cat who gained’t go away his side after he stored him from the rubble.

Ali Cakas, 33, rescued Enkaz – that means debris in Turkish – from the ruins of a collapsed rental block 129 hours after the quake.

Heartwarming photographs and pictures of Ali and Enkaz amid the rubble of Nurdagi have touched other people’s hearts far and wide.

Ali and his colleagues cared for Enkaz – who they said had ‘sad eyes’ – and are treating him as their mascot.

They hoped his owners may happen, but if no one came ahead to assert him, it become transparent that they had died in the catastrophic double earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria final Monday.

‘We bonded temporarily,’ he stated. ‘We both had a tough time. We’ll get thru this trauma by hugging each other.’
