Putin orders 36-hour ceasefire in Ukraine from the following day

Vladimir Putin is assumed to have ordered a ceasefire in Ukraine set to remaining 36 hours to have fun Russian Orthodox Christmas.

Russian troops have been informed to face down from noon on January 6 to nighttime on January 7.

The conflict despot has instructed his defence minister, Sergei Shoigu, to introduce a ceasefire regime along all of the line of touch, the Kremlin announced.
