Vladimir Putin is preparing to send 500,000 squaddies for a ‘major new offensive’, Ukraine’s defence minister has said.
Oleksii Reznikov stated Russia may launch a brand new assault to mark the anniversary in their invasion.
it could also time in with Russia’s Defender of the Hometown Day, which celebrates the military.
Mr Reznikov mentioned: ‘Officially they announced 300,000 but when we see the troops at the borders, consistent with our assessments it is much more.’
The Institute for the Take A Look At of Warfare claimed an ‘imminent’ Russian offensive is ‘the possibly course of motion’.
GUR consultant Andrii Yusov informed Ukrainian TV that they’re entering a ‘very energetic segment of the struggle’.
He stated: ‘Each February and March will be very extensive.
