A convicted Mafia boss has in the end been arrested after 30 years at the run.

Matteo Messina Denaro was once Italy’s number one fugitive who had dodged Italy’s paramilitary police for decades.

the head of the Carabinieri police force’s different operations squad mentioned Denaro was captured on Monday at an individual hospital in Palermo, where he was once receiving treatment for an undisclosed medical situation.

He was thought to be Sicily’s best Cosa Nostra boss even even as he was once a fugitive.
