Islamic State has claimed accountability for a suicide bombing in Pakistan which killed FIFTY FOUR other people.

The bomb went off at an election rally for a pro-Taliban cleric on Sunday.

Nearly 200 other people have been injured in the explosion.

Earlier these days loads of mourners carried caskets draped in vibrant cloths to burial web sites.

IS, known as the Islamic State in Khorasan Province, claimed duty for the bombing in a statement on its Amaq web site.

It stated the assault was a part of the gang’s continuing conflict in opposition to varieties of democracy it deems to be in opposition to Islam.

The Ones killed within the bombing integrated at least five youngsters.

The assault appears to reflect divisions among different Islamist groups. The teams have a robust presence within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province that borders Afghanistan.

The bombing focused the Jamiat Ulema Islam birthday celebration, which has ties to the Afghan and Pakistani Taliban.
