Former US president Jimmy Carter has entered home hospice care.

The Carter Centre showed the inside track this night.

In a tweet, the charity wrote Mr Carter, NINETY EIGHT, had ‘decided to spend his closing time at house along with his family and obtain hospice care in preference to further scientific intervention’.

It came after the previous president had a sequence of short stays in health center.
