Boys, THIRTEEN and 14, handcuffed on the floor after ‘taking stolen automotive for joyride’

tiny ‘boyracers’ have been tackled to the bottom and handcuffed after allegedly riding a stolen car at 75mph.

Bradley Cowper was using at the Gold Coast of Australia on Boxing Day whilst he says a Hyndai iMax inconsistently overtook him at velocity.

He determined to practice the van and stuck up with it at a suite of site visitors lighting fixtures, where he claims he saw two young boys within the entrance seats dressed in gloves and face masks.

The 29-12 months-antique sprung into action and opened the driver’s door, however it crossed the central reservation and sped off within the opposite direction.

He informed the Gold Coast Bulletin how he misplaced sight of the vehicle before discovering it and the teenagers a few miles away when they allegedly hit a kerb.

Mr Cowper stated he will never forget their ‘petrified’ faces and the way one ‘began begging for his life’.

‘He was once like, “my mum’s gonna kill me, that is the primary time I’ve ever done the rest unlawful,”‘ he mentioned.

He performed a voters arrest at the boys with the assistance of two different locals and an off-duty cop, before the police arrived.

Police stated the van used to be stolen from a Brisbane suburb 80km away from where the incident came about and it was once stolen a couple of days in the past.

A 13-yr-old from Bellmere and a 14-year-vintage from Upper Caboolture had been charged with unlawful use of a car and will seem in Southport Children’s Court at a later date.

Mr Cowper has no regrets about intervening. 

‘If nobody does anything else, not anything will occur. Who’s going to prevent (them)?’ he mentioned.
